XJO Added 12.9 points to 4325.8, after surging to a high of 4358.3 within the first 15 minutes of trade. The optimism was all off the back of Draghi’s comments overnight, the key word was UNLIMITED.

It’s a little disappointing that the DOW was able to add 254 points, and the US indexes all hit multi year highs, and we can only add a measly 12 points.

Materials were clearly the big winner on the day – with a 2.37% increase in that sector, offsetting losses in healthcare, financials, staples, telecoms and utilities.

The big news we are waiting on over this weekend is the Non-Farm Payrolls and US Unemployment Rate (Friday Night, 2330, consensus 123k, 8.3%), and Chinese CPI (Sunday, 1230, consensus 2.1%).
