Another tentative night overseas, with a strong positive reaction to the German Constitutional Court’s Favourable ruling, and then a slow slide throughout the day back to almost where everything started ahead on the FOMC data.

WTI Oct 12 was at $97.01 USD, down 0.16.

RBNZ has announced that they will keep interest rates on hold at 2.5% as expected.

The main stories from tonight are the US Initial Claims Numbers and the PPI, and the main event is the FOMC statement, due about 3:30 am tomorrow, Sydney Time.

Based on the match prices, it is looking like the real estate sector may be in for a rough day – although it is still early in the piece.
